Toshiba has arranged the premiere of two of its latest smartphones based on Windows Mobile, Toshiba TG02 and Toshiba K01, which took place at the exhibition MWC 2010. As the model Toshiba TG01, smartphones TG02 and K01 are also based on 1 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Windows Mobile 6.5 will be offered as the operating system for the devices. The date of release of devices on the market has not been announced yet.
Toshiba TG02 is a smartphone with a thin shell and a capacitive touch screen with a diagonal of 4.1 inches and WVGA resolution. Its main notable feature is the emergence of a modern and extremely handy system of three-dimensional menu.
Toshiba K01 is a bit like TG02, however, unlike the latter, the newdevice is equipped with a sliding QWERTY keyboard. The smartphone has a thickness of 12,9 mm and is the first smartphone produced by Toshiba that comes with a OLED screen. The display also has a diagonal of 4.1 inches and WVGA resolution.
