Just in line with previously announced plans on April 1, 2010 was completed final phase of merger of two largest Japanese manufacturers of hard-to-find electronic parts, NEC Electronics and Rensas Technology. Formed after the merger the company has been named – Renesas Electronics Corporation.
With the consolidation of the leading Japanese manufacturers of semiconductors formed the largest company to produce micro-controllers and other other semiconductor components.

The new company is able to offer more competitive products to the market of micro-controllers, chips and decrete components by combining the engineering resources and the best developments of both companies.
Also the newly formed company plans to offer complete solutions and inventory of hard-to-find semiconductors that meet the vaious requirements of customers from all industries.
