Motorola Introduced Droid X Smartphone

Motorola and American mobile operator Verizon Wireless have presented the flagship Droid X “Googlephone”, running Android 2.1 operating system (update to 2.2 version with support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1 will be released in summer).
The “heart” of the smartphone, which is endowed with virtual Swype-keyboard and much more, is the TI OMAP3630 GHz processor.
Droid X is also equipped with a 4.3-inch touch screen with a resolution of 480 × 854 pixels, as well as an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, dual LED flash and function of recording HD-video at 720p format.

Developers have included an 8-gigabyte flash drive, a slot for microSD / microSDHC memory cards with capacity up to 32 GB, HDMI-port, GPS-receiver, electronic compass, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR wireless modules, microUSB port and a 3, 5-mm socket for headphones.
Powered by a battery with capacity of 1540 mA • h the device can operate for up to 8 hours in talk mode and up to 220 hours – in standby mode.
The new model costs $ 200 subject to a two-year contract with Verizon Wireless. Motorola Droid X will be on sale on July 16.
