According to Chinese resource Engadget citing the representatives of LG Mobile company (LG Electronics subdivision, which is engaged in producing mobile devices), it will release its first communicator working under the control of Windows Phone 7 Series operating system this year in September.
It is likely that this will be the first model in industry in general based on a new OS, since the main stream of devices is expected in the fourth quarter, starting in October.
Apparently, the matter concerns the smartphone called LG Apollo, although it has not been confirmed officially. LG Apollo is already known by hearsay, it characteristics strike the imagination: it is enough to mention the 1.3 GHz processor, 10 megapixel camera, AMOLED touchscreen with support of multi-touch and a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and 1 GB RAM and ROM memory.
LG Apollo is a dual-mode communicator for CDMA / GSM / UMTS networks, it is intended for American operators Verizon and Sprint. It is not clear whether this “monster” really exists and how much it might cost.
