The Taiwan SmartPhone manufacturer HTC has grown to be a serious threat to iPhone launched by Apple. The other Smartphones from Samsung Electronics and Nokia are also facing from the same threat from HTC. At a recent press conference on Tuesday HTC announced that there would be about four new SmartPhones launched in China. This endeavor is being done in order to establish its brand in the nation.
This is good news for HTC as Apple has been very slow with launching its new popular products in China.HTC is going in for the market competition in China as Apple has not been able to capture the market in the same way. Apple has a very small presence in China and it recorded sales of only 7.1% in the second quarter of the year. Apple only has one Wi-Fi version of a Smartphone and the iPhone 4.The rest of the handset manufacturers like Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericson and Motorola also have a small share in the mobile market of the nation. HTC has plans to market its mobiles in China aggressively to enhance its presence in this mobile dominated market. The company has plans to increase and enhance its sales in China.
