Realizing the importance of expanding the range of phones, in the sphere of which the Taiwanese vendor has engaged recently, the company has presented a new Android-smartphone. It should be noted that earlier Acer was engaged in the production of Liquid line.

Acer Stream is equipped with a 3.7-inch AMOLED-screen, 1-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 5 megapixel camera with support for 720p-video, 512 MB of RAM, 2 GB of internal flash memory and a complete microSD-memory card with capacity up to 8 GB, HDMI-output and Dolby Surround Mobile volume sound. The smartphone has support for all the major communication modules – 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth. The thickness of the case is 11.2 mm.
The user interface of the smartphone has offered a unique separation of the screen: status lines delimit the application icons at the bottom of the display from the history of their start at the top. Among the preinstalled programs Facebook, Twitter-client Twidroid, Spinlets, Nemo-Player are included.
Acer Stream based on Android 2.1 Éclair will be available in the second half of this year.
