Windows Phone 8 To Be Released In November

There is good news for people waiting for the forthcoming Windows Phone 8. There are reports that it’s operating platform will make its much awaited debut on the 29th of October at a gala event by Microsoft. The phone is expected to be released in November to customers. This phone has a new Windows platform that seeks a mission to overtake the Android and iOS platform.

The announcement of the said phone was made by the Company officially. The new Windows phone is better known as Apollo and the announcement also confirmed several rumors surfaced at the Windows Phone Summit. This new OS system faces the sole task of dominating the Android and the iOS platforms. This is now the third stand out mobile choice in operating systems for handsets. There is aniticipation of another one that is going to be launched by RIM also shortly. The Blackberry 10 OS platform is likely to come into the market early next year. Currently the only confirmed Windows manufacturers of this time are Samsung, HTC, Nokia and Huawei. There are high chances of another manufacturer joining the bandwagon – and that is ZTE with the mobile company launching WP-8 powered smartphones in 2013.
