The new Xperia Arc S design stands out as it is sleek and thin. Unlike the Motorola Razr it is smaller on the whole and hence it does a better job of sitting in the hand and that actually accentuates its thin design more efficiently. It also means that it will fit in the pocket more easily. The display of the screen functions well in both indoors and out door lighting situations. It does not need much tweaking to either extend battery life or legibility.

The Arc S belies its single core processor with snappy performance and the Ul design complements this by looking fine and attractive. The Xperia Arc S, just like rest of the phones produced by Sony for the 2011, is expected to get the Ice Cream Sandwich some time next year, so there is a modicum of the future proofing built in which one may not get with every Android hand set.

The 8 mega pixel camera is fair but nothing extraordinary, in either still or 720 p shooting modes. The camera is also 3D capable. It has an in built panoramic 3D camera app. It does not all of this with a single camera which is technically a neat trick to be noticed.

Way back in the year 2007 there were sources that reported on a PlayStation phone that would be coming soon. The phone finally sees the light of the day exactly four years later that claims the phone is official. Sony Ericsson is about to unfold its new Sony Ericsson Xperia Play at the forthcoming MWC in Barcelona on Sunday 13th February. Sony Ericsson has also released a video that shows an Android robot giving a brief insight of the handset. This is a kind of promotional video that has been made available to mobile lovers across the world to catch a glimpse of the phone.

Now gamers can experience the joys of portable gaming on an impressive looking handset. The phone is a good looking one and it comes equipped with great mobile and gaming features. This is a very significant development after the unveiling of two other gaming devices the Sony NGP and the Nintendo 3DS this week. The Xperia Play device will also provide the gamer a number of games through the Playstation Suite. Users will be delivered with Playstation One games later on this year via the device.

Several live photos of the first Android-phone from Sony Ericsson hit the Internet today. However, the name of the device is not clear yet: previously it was rumored as Rachel, Xperia X3 and recently we heard that the company wants to name it XPERIA X10.
