About a year ago, the first information was recieved about the new Motorola Alexander great smartphone with sliding QWERTY-keyboard, 8 MP camera, 3D-chip from Nvidia, and other interesting features. However, this year Motorola announced that the WinMo smartphone Motorola Alexander will not appear in the production, because the company had made a decision to focus on Android-backgrounds.

Though this information, Bluetooth SIG association has recently posted the new smartphone Motorola Somerset on the association website. Motorola Somerset looks very similar to Alexander. However, the manufacturer has not yet unveiled the specifications and details of the new model.

According to the information published on the Bluetooth SIG website, Somerset supports Bluetooth-technology, is equipped with a touch screen, sliding QWERTY-keyboard, 3.5 mm Stereo Jack, MMC slot and the camera (probably 8 MP, as in Alexander).

Taking into consideration that the WinMo version has already been cancelled, there is a possibility that Motorola Somerset will be running the Android operating system.
