HTC To Host September Event With Android Implication

The renowned mobile brand HTC is going to hold a mega event in the month of September and it has began sending out invitation. The above event will be held in London and there are rumors that the event is about to be Android related. The so called HTC event is going to be held on the 15^th of September.

The world famous mobile handset brand has not come up with specific details for the event but has purported to claim that it is going to come up with those things that HTC has dreamt about. The company has issued an image regarding the event and when you look at it for the first time it seems to appear like a cloud of smoke. If you look at the image closer and with the help of the Photoshop you can make it out to look like the back of the HD HTC Desire phone.

On the other hand the giant handset maker also came out with the fact that they were close to the debut of the Windows Phone & and HTC has been a big supporter of this big platform of Microsoft in the past. The mobile brand has also committed itself to be a partner and so there is a possibility that there may not be any Android related news in the event.

There is great news for Blackberry mobile owners and that is that RIM has announced that the Blackberry Torch 9800 will now come equipped with a multi-media news portal- The Associated Press Mobile News Network. The above mobile news network was designed by Associated Press in the month of May and it has been receiving an encouraging response since then. RIM has also launched a client application that has been designed for the full optimization of Blackberry Smartphones that are readily available for download at bb.apnews.com.

The Mobile News Network is also an application that works on the Blackberry Curve, Bold, Pearl and Flip models. Blackberry, in fact, is the first mobile device after the launch of iPhone to receive a personalized and customized mobile news portal. Mobile users can also use the iPhone to receive their MNN applications in the Application store and people can log into their mobile web browser to www.apnews.com.

According to AP, the mobile news portal has received more than 16 million page views since August 2008 and there are also more than a million local news reports that are read. The number has increased in the subsequent months and it has climbed up to 26 million page views that has around 1.5 million local stories that are read on a regular basis.
