LG does not exclude that announced back in February KT770 smartphone based on Symbian OS may not appear on the market. The company also noted that the smartphone could be seriously refined, especially the software part. In this case, the device will hit the market under another name.

Some experts believe that LG will abandon the production of devices running Symbian and will focus on Android and Windows Mobile. These assumptions are also confirmed by LG strategy, about which told the CEO Yong Nam.

Previously, LG had give preference to a mobile operating system from Microsoft and signed the partnership agreement earlier this year. However, given the favorable forecasts for Android and not very bright prospects for Windows Mobile LG decided not to take risks and produce smartphones either first, or on the second platform.
