In the month of November British telecommunications market may have some rearrangements. Company France Telecom and Deutsche Telekom reached an agreement to merge their business in the United Kingdom. In the late fall, T-Mobile UK and Orange will make a joint venture. The result will be new company with a turnover of about 9,4 billion euros and control of 37% of the local market. To date, the largest share has UK operator O2 of the United Telefonica – 27%.

The full merger will not be immediately. In the 18 months since the signing of the contract the company will remain independent operators. This period is necessary for the restructuring, valued at between $600 to 800million pounds. In this case the expected income should reach 3.5 billion pounds. Meanwhile, the European market there an unprecedented situation where a single operator will control more than one third of the market, along with two other operators (O2 and Vodafone), its share will reach more than 90%.
