T-Mobile in a major announcement on Twitter on Wednesday said that it was ready to launch HSPA with a compatible SmartPhone later this summer. The coming said that further details of the launch would be available in the forthcoming weeks.
The name of the model has not yet been decided by the company and they claim the package to be a next generation one that will mark a revolution in wireless technology. There were also a number of other announcements that were made by the company on Wednesday and they included the inclusion of the expansion of the HSPA service and the WCDMA technology to around fifty metropolitan regions. This will in turn cater to around 85 million people. The company has also announced a family plan that is a two year contract that permits consumers to get the latest phones that are good in messaging like Samsung Gravity 3 and T. The Plan also gives unlimited texting for the complete family at only $20 every month.
In addition to the above T-Mobile has also announced the LG dLite that is available at $49.99 that has a service level agreement of two years. The phone will be available in electric blue and bubblegum color finishes.
