T-Mobile sent out invitations for a press conference in New York, where is much expected the announcement of the second Android based phone. According to VentureBeat, on April 21, under the name T-Mobile G2 will be presented HTC Sapphire 1.0, leaked a few months back on the HTC’s 09 roadmap.
It seems that Sapphire 1.0 won’t be used, but G2. In addition, releases of Android communicators G3 and G4, the first of which is a Vodafone Magic, and the second will be for the Japanese operator NTT DoCoMo is expected soon.
The fact that the same devices will be offered under different names in three different networks, suggests that mobile operators want to get from HTC specific hardware configuration (for example, different cameras or the amount of internal memory).
