For those looking for an affordable Android Smartphone there is good news and that is that the Sprint Nextel has introduced on Wednesday the LG Optimus S for just $49.99.
Sprint on Wednesday introduced three low priced Android phones and subsequently joined the other mobile phone operators introducing phones empowered with Google’s well known operating system ar competitive market rates. Sprint also launched the Samsung Transform just for $149.99 after getting a $100 mail in discount along with a contract that lasts for two years. The other phone that has been launched by the mobile operator is the Sanyo Zio for about $99.99 along with the same rebate and a 2 year contract. It is anticipated that both these models will go on for sale from the 10th of October.
The three phones that the mobile operator launched on Wednesday will come equipped with a unique feature called the Sprint ID and this feature will allow the consumers to select a special themed interface for their handset the moment the phone comes out of the box. The ID packs of the phone make these selected applications and the content readily available on the home screen of the handset. There are prominent companies like ESPN, eBay and Walt Disney that have made these special ID packs and they are availing the service.
