Technical Director of Sony Ericsson, Mets Lindof, spoke about plans for the near future. In particular, he reported that the company is developing a large number of a variety of devices and that all models range from the third quarter may not soon be on sale. Lindof also noted that Sony Ericsson will focus on a series of Xperia. The first Communicator of the line – Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, he said, focuses primarily on the American market.
In addition, the technical director of Sony Ericsson suggested that the company is likely to release series of Xperia and Android-smartphone, as already stated, this line will not be limited to operating system Windows Mobile. Nothing specific about the Android Lindof did not say. He only noted that Sony Ericsson is interested in this platform. A model based on a platform Symbian will appear as early as next year, and it will be really high quality device, said Mets Lindof.
