Harold De Kort, marketing manager at Sony Ericsson Benelux, said in his Twitter feed that SE is working on XPERIA X2. However, the details of these plans emerged in the past, but first they were voice out loud by a senior representative of the Swedish-Japanese group.
However, it is interesting that de Cort was not limited with the announcement of Xperia X2. His words are «Of course, each X1 always be X2, X3, X4 and X5». Perhaps the phrase could be interpreted as a confirmation of long-term program of XPERIA, not a limited release of one or two devices. But there is another opinion on this point – is rumored that the next XPERIA will just be called the Xperia X5.
What, then, happened to numbers 3 and 4? Perhaps the lack of «Quartet» due to the view of «unhappy» figure in Asia, a «triple» – on the contrary, very popular abbreviation «ХЗ» among Russian-speaking part of consumers, or similar to, again, «unhappy» number 13. Either way, the main conclusion to be drawn – in the future we can look forward to the new smartphones XPERIA.
