Samsung officially announced it’s newest MID device – Samsung Mondi. It is a compact tablet with sliding QWERTY keyboard and WiMAX data transmission technology. Samsung Mondi is equipped with all that is required to modern mobile devices:

* Windows Mobile 6.1
* 4.3 inch touch screen
* Full QWERTY keyboard
* GPS navigation module
* EMail Push technology
* Bluetooth 2.0
* Opera 9.5 Browser
* HDMI TV output
* 3 MPiks camera
* 4 Gb embedded flash memory
Mondi can’t connect to GSM or CDMA networks, but Samsung Mondi is designed to work in the WiMAX networks, thus VOIP should work, at least the built-in microphone and speakers are available. Samsung Mondi weighs less than it was expected, and the screen is clear and bright. OS responds to user almost instantly.
And finally,Samsung Mondi, of course, needs a WiMAX network. In the United States all the hopes in the company Clearwire, which deals with WiMAX networks, but no data on the specific dates of release of Samsung Mondi.
