Samsung and Vodafone are preparing to release a new phone model, which will run OS developed by LIMO Foundation project. Nothing is known about either the announcement date or even the model of the device.
It may be Samsung Riedel l8305, recently certified by FCC, but this is only one of the versions. Boy Genius Report managed to take photos of the device and get some of it’s specifications.
The phone will be produced by Samsung for Vodafone and will be based on Linux OS. The device supports Vodafone People service , which will be launched soon. It will have a large OLED-touchscreen with Haptic technology interface. Among other specifications, only the presence of 8-megapixel camera is avalable.
According to rumors this model will be announced at the event, which Vodafone will organize on September 24 in London.
