CellPassion revealed some information about a mobile device – Samsung i8320 (Protector). It’s a smartphone based on mobile distro Linux, however, it is not about Android, but LiMo. The model is based on the TI OMAP3430 processor and is equipped with touch screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels.
Among other specifications of the Samsung i8320 source mentioned the support of 3G networks and Wi-Fi wireless standard. The users of the smartphone will have an opportuniy of Internet access via Opera Mobile 9.6 browser.
Unfortunately no photos were provided. It is not clear in what form factor it is designed and what keypad it is equipped. The release date is not known too.
