In the forum of TmoNews supposed roadmap of RIM (Research In Motion) is published for production of Blackberry smartphones in 2009. Separate attention is paid to two models – variation of Blackberry Bold with touch screen and Blackberry Storm with Slider keyboard.
Details are still minimal. Touchscreen Blackberry Bold will be coded 9900, but still is code-named Pluto. It is expected that it will have the same bar form factor only with QWERTY-keyboard, as usual Blackberry Bold, with the main difference – touch screen.
Variation of Blackberry Storm with slider form factor is expected to focus on European market, is expected to support 3G and Wi-Fi. Recall that Blackberry Storm is the first smartphone from RIM, equipped with touch screen and does not have a hardware keyboard.
