The Qriocity Video will come to the Xperia range of phones soon. This news was revealed by the Sony Ericsson Blog. This is followed by the release of the cloud based digital music service of the company known as Music Unlimited.
With this service users will be allowed to see movies and TV shows from the NBC Universal International television distribution, Warner Brothers, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The users will be able to enjoy the latest releases with a detailed back catalogue. They have the choice to either rent or purchase the content media.
Those users of the Xperia 2011 series of handsets based in Italy, Germany, Spain, Japan, Canada, the US, UK and France are able to enjoy this unique service. The content will also be localized to suit the viewers of the respective nations.
The service will be later available on the Xperia Arc, the Xperia Neo, the Xperia PLAY, the Xperia Pro and the Xperia Acro sometime later this year through a software upgrade. The feature will also be available on the about to be announced Xperia Acrive and Xperia Ray mobile phones. The Qriocity video service is one that will automatically appear on these Xperia Smartphones that support it.
