Las Vegas, CES 2009 Exhibition, Sony Ericsson Introduced two new phones. Third, the exclusive device for the Vodafone network was demonstrated in London.
Well, about the first model was known even before the official release. Yes! It is the same Kate, founder of a lot of headlines in the style of «Katya, take the phone».
Sony Ericsson C510 Kate, belonging to Cyber-shot series, is, according to the company, most afordable device of this series. Monoblock design accordingly continues best traditions of Cyber-Shot series. In photographic arsenal C510 has 3.2-megapixel camera that has a bonus – the smiles detector system “Smile Shutter”.
Other features of the device are standard (and, again, has long been known): support of 3G networks, TFT-screen QVGA-definition 2.2-inch diagonal, and support for memory cards M2. C510 will be available in the first quarter of 2009.
Sony Ericsson W508 – a clamshell Walkman, which somehow reminds us W980, the flagship of this line. However, the flagship was introduced almost a year ago, so it was time for a new wave. The model comes with removable panels, which should emphasize its youth orientation and willingness to follow the changing mood of the owner.
Inside – 2.2-inch screen with QVGA-resolution and 262 thousand colors, from the outside – 1.1-inch monochrome display and playback controls for media content. The device has a standard for the Walkman features in the form of services TrackID, Mega Bass, Shake control, SensMe, and is equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera.
The third phone, presented exclusively for Vodafone, – is Sony Ericsson W715. This is almost a complete copy of W705 except for some minor design changes. In addition, the model added GPS function and provides more tight integration with the service operator.
