In October last year, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic quickly appeared for sale in many countries, from Russia to Thailand. Despite some incompletness of the phone and problem with the software, on January 23 was announced about sale of 1 millionth copies. But as it turns out it was just the beginning. Less than three months, Rob Taylor, one of the leaders of the American Nokia Forum, announced new sales results.

For such a short period of time, the number of 5800-s sold exceeded the phenomenal 13 million mark. This makes the 5800 XpressMusic phone, even more popular than the iPhone, because Apple has sold 17 million of its devices (iPhone and iPhone 3G) over 16 months. The figures seem even more impressive when considering that the 5800 XpressMusic, in fact, an experimental product of a middle class, and in June, the flagship of line of touchscreen phones is waited to be announced.
