Nokia company predicts that next year the mobile phone market will grow by 10%. The share of the Finnish manufacturer will remain at the level of 2009. This is stated in a press release. Nokia also noted that in 2010 the manufacturer will focus on improving financial performance, increasing the volume of business services and advancing smartphones.
CEO of Nokia Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo said that next year, developers will withdraw the Symbian platform to a new level. He noted that the development of Symbian corporation will be able to expand its presence in the smartphone market.
In addition, in the second half of 2010 the company will release a mobile device running Maemo 6. The producer also make plans to significantly expand the range of smartphones with QWERTY-keyboard and encourage the development of services Ovi with third-party developers.
