Nokia C7 will soon get NFC capabilities in early 2011 in France and mobile lovers can use this power-packed Smartphone very soon. This phone has a chip that is inside the phone and it gives the user the advantage of interacting with other NFC devices. This phone was scheduled to be released in the month of September but the shipping of the phone began the next month as the chips had not been made on time
Users that were expecting the mobile phone were disappointed however the Head of Public Relations France had stated that there is no need to worry as the C7 is going to receive an update on its firmware in early 2011 and this will activate on the functionality of the NFC feature.
NFC has been in the news for the recent months now and handset makers have really banked on this technology to sell its future models in the market. They also had to wait for MasterCard and Visa for updating the payment terminals to shore up the technology. This is really going to be a breakthrough in the mobile industry with people now being able to make payments with their mobile phones. For Nokia C7 users this dream will come true in 2011.
