According to last week’s rumors, Motorola Dext will arrive to the UK in early October. Today Orange UK officially confirmed these rumors and announced that Android smartphone will indeed be released next month.
Orange UK customers will have a chance to get Motorola Dext almost for free if they choose a 2 year contract and a data plan of at least £34.26 ($56.5) per month.

For those who missed our previous post about this device we’d like to remind that Motorola Dext is Moto’s first Android device, which is the same Motorola Cliq which will be soon released in the US by T-Mobile.
Among the specifications of Motorola Dext we should mention the Android OS 1.5, the MotoBlur UI, 3 inch HVGA touchscreen display, support of HSDPA networks, HTML browsing, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP camera, and a full QWERTY keyboard.
