Production of the Modu mobile phone company was never very popular with consumers and operators. At the latest Mobile World Congress Modu mobile phone company has presented a new mobile phone with a new shape. The handset will have only basic functions of the mobile phone and is expected to weight only 40.1 grams. However, the new model can be upgraded with the help of extra modules. Each extra module of the Modu phone will cost consumers from $25 up to $100.
Thus the phone buyer could purchase the basic frame and change the functionality of the phone by adding the necessary modules, changing it into a messenger or a music phone.
The development and innovation process of the new Modu phone is close to the end now and it is expected to appear in the market in about a month. However, the manufacturer decided to improve the phone by adding a touch display.
Modu is planning to unveil its new model in approximately 8 months. Will the new model increase Modu’s sales and consumers remains unanswered.
