South Korean LG Electronics has introduced GT540 “Google Phone”, which can boast of support for online services such as Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Android Market, Facebook, Twitter, Bebo, “Classmates”, etc. With the help of Social Networking System (SNS) widgets the information of social networks is promptly displayed on the main screen of the device.

The smartphone, operating in GSM / GPRS / EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS / HSDPA 900/2100 MHz networks, has on board a touch screen with a resolution of 320 × 480 pixels, 3-megapixel camera, 3.5-mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless modules, GPS-receiver and a slot for microSD-card with capacity up to 16 GB.
The phone can also be used for watching videos in DivX and Xvid formats.
The device is powered by a battery with capacity of 1500 mA • h.
GT540 will be on sale in June.
