The company Krusell, a famous Swedish manufacturer of covers for consumer electronics, has published its traditional monthly rating of mobile phones and smartphones. The top news is that iPhone is out of this list.
TOP-10 most popular phones in January are:

- (9) Nokia E51
- (-) Blackberry Storm
- (2) Nokia 6300
- (5) Nokia 3109
- (7) Sony Ericsson X1 Xperia
- (8) Nokia E71
- (-) Nokia 6220
- (10) HTC Diamond, (in brackets indicates position in the last month)
As pointed out by Ulf Sandberg, marketing director at Krusell, in January, ranking has changed dramatically. In 2008, the list was dominated by Nokia and Sony Ericsson, with the leadership often taken by iPhone from Apple. In January 5 places in the ranking still has Nokia, also Samsung, Blackberry, HTC and Sony Ericsson are inlcuded. On February Sandberg predicts further increase the popularity of smartphone Blackberry Storm.
