Instagram has introduced a fresh update for its widely sought hipster photo application delivering support for the recently launched iphone 5. The iphone 5 has bigger screen space and this is the main reason for its support. The interface of this application has not been changed and the update means you can now see more snaps of other content and people posing. There are many IOS applications that have not been optimized for bigger iphone 5. They generally feature black bars both at the top and bottom. There are other changes and they include easier and faster registration process with improve password recovery with the general influx of fixes for bugs.
The Instagram update follows some weeks after Facebook had completed its acquisition of the company. This had cost the social network website one billion. Facebook wanted Instagram to remain a standalone application rather than being phased in this social network. Instagram will proceed to grow with the strong engineering team of Facebook along with its infrastructure. The social networking website is dying to work with Instagram to enhance and improve the mobile experience. The Instagram 3.1 version can be downloaded from the Apple App Store. It is compatible with those devices that run on IOS 4.3 and above. Instalgram also states that an Android update is on its way soon.
