HTC: Windows Mobile is too Complicated

In an interview with German magazine Connect, top-managerĀ  of HTC Lars Vaysvange(director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland) made several curious thoughts about the usability of Windows Mobile operating system and its inconvenience to newborn interfaces with touchsceen input.

According to him, the Windows Mobile operating system is well suited for business users, but for ordinary consumers it’s difficult to work with it using touch screens. Because of this, HTC is developing an interface HTC TouchFLO - including its 3D-version TouchFLO 3D.

At the same time Vaysvange said that the Internet Explorer browser for Windows Mobile subjecte to considerable criticism. To avoid consumer dissatisfactions, HTC adds to their products browsers of other companies - for example, Opera Mobile 9.5.
