Barcelona – Mobile World Congress 09 -Day 2: The transnational mobile operator Vodafone and the company HTC today presented a joint product – Android smartphone HTC Magic, which will be offered to subscribers in countries such as Britain, Spain, France and Germany, as well as to anyone – in Italy. Already, the on local web-sites of operator Vodafone subscribers can make a pre-order.
More remarkable is the fact that HTC Magic will be available in two colors – white and black, with white smartphone will be available to residents of Britain, France and Spain, and black – in Germany, but the Italians will have both versions available.
HTC Magic has a 3.2 inch touch sensitive LCD display, support for various types of mobile Internet access using the Android platform optimized browser Webkit. Also Smartphone will be preloaded with a lot of popular applications from Google, including Google Maps, Google Search and the ability to use the service YouTube. Those who will not find the standard set of software enough, HTC Magic will provide additional programs and games.

The HTC Magic is basically the HTC Dream without the keyboard. It’s obviously the HTC Sapphire, that leaked in the HTC 2009 Roadmap. As the roadmap seems quite credible, we are probably going to see a T-Mobile exclusive version as well.
There is yet no information about the availability and pricing of the HTC Magic.
