According to Jack Tong, the Vice-President of the Asia-Pacific division of HTC, the high demand and fast purchases of smartphone HTC Hero in Europe and Asia has led to shortages of the device. In other words, the company does not produce enough product to cover all the needs of potential buyers. According to Tong, they will not be able to handle the deficit up to November of this year.
HTC Hero – is quite functional and at the same time not a prohibitively expensive smartphone running Android OS. The device offers all the features needed for modern mobile devices: touch screen, the camera is sufficiently high resolution, wireless adapters, 3G support, and so on.
According to Tong, a high demand for HTC Hero did not subside until the end of this year and will continue in the first quarter of next.
