HTC EVO To Get Android Source Codes For Gingerbread ROMS

It was only until recently that the HTC EVO had received the Gingerbread ROM however this was a ROM that did not function as the source code for the Android 2.3 platform at that time was not available. Google has now unleashed the source code for the above and presently the ROMS are working. The source codes that have been released are also successfully working for the other HTC phones like the HD2, Nexus One, Galaxy S and the rest.

The above update for the HTC EVO and the other phones has enhanced the user performance of the phone and at the same time there is no issues with the applications of the phone like radio along with phone calls, data, contact sync, audio playback etc. The user can also successfully avail Google applications as well without hassles. The only thing that is currently missing is the camera and the GPS however that is going to be rectified in no time by the company. The brand is working on this and the issue will be solved as soon as possible.

The new update is one that will be scattered among the XDA platform and it promises more functionality to the users of the HTC EVO.
