Green Phones Sony Ericsson Elm and Hazel

Sony Ericsson is continuing to fight for the improvement of the ecology of our planet, but with its own methods. It has long presented a line of phones GreenHeart, which includes models with body from recycled materials and special chargers. Recently this series has been supplemented by two new communication devices – a slider Hazel and bar form factor Elm.

Sony Ericsson Elm and Hazel

Elm though is environmentally friendly and seemingly simple device, but its characteristics are quite good: 5-megapixel camera module WiFi, FM-tuner and a QVGA-screen with a diagonal of 2.2 inches. The basis of this candy bar is the platform of Sony Ericsson A300. Slider Hazel differs from Elm only with its form factor and screen sizes – here it is 2.6 inches. The shells of phones are made from recycled plastic, and battery chargers that come with them, endowed with automatic switch off function after the end of the process of recharging the battery. Sony Ericsson has given Elm and Hazer preinstalled clients to work with Internet services, like Twitter, Facebook and MySpace. The exact date of release of these models is still unknown.
