At MWC company GIGA-BYTE once again announced its new flagship – Communicator GSmart S1200. Running Windows Mobile 6.1 (with the possibility to upgrade to 6.5), a stylish and powerful device based on a Qualcomm 528 MHz processor. It can work in networks GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA, as well as supports wireless Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.
The screen of the GSmart S1200 for the current standards is good (but not more than that) – 3.1 inch and WVGA resolution. For comfortable managament GIGA-BYTE has developed its own interface Smart Zone. The device is quite compact – 106x52x11,4 mm, with three hardware keys (Send, End and functional), which makes the design quite a S1200 stylish.
Smartphone is expected to be available in the second quarter of this year. No pricing details has been reported.
