Samsunghas introduced a new smartphone running Google Android OS – Galaxy Spica. This is the second model based on Android from Samsung.
As manufacturer states, the main difference of the new device is the high speed and usability of the network, as well as easy synchronization with network services.
As Android OS was originally developed for devices with touch-screen, the use is intuitive and convenient, especially in combination with 3.2-inch LCD display of the new phone.
The Galaxy Spica retained all the resemblances of Samsung’s touchphone family in the aspect of design, but the front panel has two bright red accents – the navigation button and the dynamics.
Galaxy Spica is equipped with a 800MHz processor and 128MB of RAM and supports synchronization with all the services of Google, including mail, calendar, documents etc.

In addition to all the network benefits of the new OS, Galaxy Spica is also equipped with wide multimedia capabilities: audio and video players that work with all popular digital formats, and there is no need to convert video files, which gives the freedom of choosing content, and saves a lot of time. The battery capacity of 1500 mAh and the support of microSD cards (up to 32GB) provides the smartphone owners with a long battery life and the ability to store large amounts of data.
Besides, the phone supports Microsoft ActiveSync, which allows to synchronize e-mails between the smartphone and PC, touch-QWERTY-keyboard, GPS-module and a compass.
