The European Union started an official investigation of the causes of Apple smartphones explosions, which happened in France, Britain and Germany not so long ago.
European Commissioner for Consumer Affairs Meglena Kuneva said that currently the test of the device is well under way, and if even one country can prove that the iPhone is dangerous for European users, it will be prohibited in the European Union. Surely, such a harsh measure will be applied in case if the danger of the iPhone is 100% proven.
Apple has not reacted to the actions of the EU so far. But these events should definetly worry Apple, because the European market is one of the most important for the iPhone. And such a ban could significantly worsen the situation of the company.
