Dell Latitude E6400 XFR rugged notebook

Dell presented its latest rugged notebook Latitude E6400 XFR, designed to work in conditions of high humidity and at high concentrations of dust.  Dell E6400 XFR has an exclusive system of Ballistic Armor, which is made of a material used in the aviation industry, military and medical devices.This technology provides a 25% increase in resistance to moisture penetration than any computer in this class.

Latitude E6400 XFR has also advanced feature PrimoSeal, hindering penetration of dust with special compression gaskets. Thanks to the system QuadCool Thermal notebook fully complies with the military standard MIL-STD 810F, describing activities in extreme temperature conditions.

What regards to the standard specifications for of the notebook, it’s all alright. The system runs on Intel Core 2 Duo processors with the technology of vPro; quite large for this class 14.1 inch display is equipped with a technology DirectVue, to work under direct sunlight. The device has a thickness of 5.5 cm and weighs 3.4 kg, which is considerably less than the previous generation of XFR.

The laptop has already been sold in the U.S., Canada and several European countries at a price of $ 4299.
