Motorola Q11 with QWERTY keypad and with asymmetric screen is ready to debut in Brazil - one of the few markets (except USA), where Moto feels relatively calm.

Brazilian site ClubeCelular.com is willing to share details. The device will support Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, but 3G data transmission will not be available (at least in Brazil). According to the report, the phone will be equipped with a 2.5 mm audiojack.

The verdict? «The new smartphone offers a few pleasant surprises, but leaves much to be desired in other aspects».

The popular and largest wireless carrier in Canada also known as Rogers Wireless, has presented a new mobile phone for its subscribers, the Motorola Extreme VA76r.
The mobile phone is rugged and ugly but it can resist to a lot of stuff, such as: hot temperatures (up to 55 degrees C), drops from 48 inches of height, rainy + dusty conditions, and more. It is commonly known as certified to military standard 810 F.
If you forget about the looks and go straight for the list of specifications, there isn’t much surprise. The basic Motorola Extreme VA76r has a 2.2-inch QVGA display, bluetooth, 2-megapixel camera with 8x zoom, and supports HSDPA/3G.

Motorola intends to employ about 350 specialists who will work on the operating system Android based new phones.
This was rumored by one of the developers of Android, who was tried to be taken to the new company. According to him, Motorola’s Android devision already has about 50 people.

We haven’t recieved any news from Motorola, which isn’t living its best times, but anyways Moto still continues to fight and more and more phones are beeing rumored.
Motorola Q11 was caught posing for some shots recently by Mobility Today reported to be successor of Motorola Q9. Specifications of Motorola Q11 are very sketchy for now. We only know that runs Windows Mobile 6.1,with a GPS module, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a 3 Mp camera and a QWERTY keypad.

From the photos the touchscreen display might be 2.4 inch.
No info available about Motorola Q11 announcement/release date and its cost.

We have got rumors about a new phone from Motorola. Ruby - third version of a famous RAZR. Device will be based on UIQ 3.3 platform, its deliveries will begin in I quarter of 2009.
Motorola Ruby will be equipped with 5 Mp camera and a special access system, which will run prespecified programmes directly from the external display. In addition, the phone will support HSDPA and have Wi-Fi.
Ruby will support GPS-navigation also. It is also expected that the company will continue to produce more affordable UIQ-devices, as well as smartphone based on OS Android.

For hardcore Nokia loyalists, the fact that Motorola phones are sometimes better designed would not go down too well. Perhaps, a look at the Motorola Z12 might bring about some transformation in opinions.

Oh!!! and once again!!! Motorola recently names its upcoming smartphones after the greatest conquerors in the far past. After Napoleon and Alexander now its time for Motorlola Atila - smartphone with touch control.
As writes boygeniusreport.com, this phone is a “brother in law” of Motorola Alexander, but will not have a QWERTY-keyboard.
Phone is based on a chipset Qualcomm 7201A, works on the Windows Mobile 6.1. Motorola Atila has a screen with QVGA-resolution and 262 thousand colors (TFT) with 2.8 inch display.

Boy Genius Report published a photo and some details of the new smartphone Motorola Alexander, who in earlier rumors was described as “the last line of defense” and the new flagship of Motorola.

If rely on the source, Motorola Alexander runs under Windows Mobile 6.1, and not Symbian UIQ, as previously thought. In addition, the smartphone will have 5 or 8 megapixel camera, NVIDIA chip for processing 3D-graphics, support for aGPS.
Release date is in the fourth quarter of this year.
