Motorola Q11 is becoming increasingly known. Brazilian site Zumo has published a video of the device and a few extra photographs.

Motorola Q11 with QWERTY keypad and with asymmetric screen is ready to debut in Brazil - one of the few markets (except USA), where Moto feels relatively calm.

Brazilian site ClubeCelular.com is willing to share details. The device will support Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, but 3G data transmission will not be available (at least in Brazil). According to the report, the phone will be equipped with a 2.5 mm audiojack.

The verdict? «The new smartphone offers a few pleasant surprises, but leaves much to be desired in other aspects».

The popular and largest wireless carrier in Canada also known as Rogers Wireless, has presented a new mobile phone for its subscribers, the Motorola Extreme VA76r.

The mobile phone is rugged and ugly but it can resist to a lot of stuff, such as: hot temperatures (up to 55 degrees C), drops from 48 inches of height, rainy + dusty conditions, and more. It is commonly known as certified to military standard 810 F.

If you forget about the looks and go straight for the list of specifications, there isn’t much surprise. The basic Motorola Extreme VA76r has a 2.2-inch QVGA display, bluetooth, 2-megapixel camera with 8x zoom, and supports HSDPA/3G.

Motorola intends to employ about 350 specialists who will work on the operating system Android based new phones.

This was rumored by one of the developers of Android, who was tried to be taken to the new company. According to him, Motorola’s Android devision already has about 50 people.

The same source said that at a recent conference of Android developers were observed by representatives of Nokia and Verizon (the largest operator of in the U.S.).

In the case of Nokia, it does need to keep a hand on the pulse of events - open Android will be an the rival of the same open Symbian.

We haven’t recieved any news from Motorola, which isn’t living its best times, but anyways Moto still continues to fight and more and more phones are beeing rumored.

Motorola Q11 was caught posing for some shots recently by Mobility Today reported to be successor of Motorola Q9. Specifications of Motorola Q11 are very sketchy for now. We only know that runs Windows Mobile 6.1,with a GPS module, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a 3 Mp camera and a QWERTY keypad.

From the photos the touchscreen display might be 2.4 inch.

We have got rumors about a new phone from Motorola. Ruby - third version of a famous RAZR. Device will be based on UIQ 3.3 platform, its deliveries will begin in I quarter of 2009.

Motorola Ruby will be equipped with 5 Mp camera and a special access system, which will run prespecified programmes directly from the external display. In addition, the phone will support HSDPA and have Wi-Fi.

Ruby will support GPS-navigation also. It is also expected that the company will continue to produce more affordable UIQ-devices, as well as smartphone based on OS Android.

For hardcore Nokia loyalists, the fact that Motorola phones are sometimes better designed would not go down too well. Perhaps, a look at the Motorola Z12 might bring about some transformation in opinions.

The phone is a treat to the eyes with a 2.8-inch display that boasts of 16M color VGA resolution. Since most phones these days are outfitted with exceptional cameras, it is hardly surprising that Motorola has chosen to go the 5MP way.

Evidently, the Z12 also features a touch-sensitive keypad that lends a stylish dimension to this sleek beauty. However, solid information on the specs isn’t out yet, but this concept drawing makes it look worth waiting for.

Motorola decided to release a new version of stylish phone.

The first bird is going to be model Motorola V70 Retro. This device is very similar to his predecessor V70, which at its time was a very original device. It is made in a rotator form factor.

Phone is based on a chipset Qualcomm 7201A, works on the Windows Mobile 6.1. Motorola Atila has a screen with QVGA-resolution and 262 thousand colors (TFT) with 2.8 inch display.

It supports data transmission using HSDPA (up to 7.2 Mbps) and Wi-Fi (b/g). Dimensions of Atila are - 80×109x13,75 mm. No information about its camera yet

It is likely that the phone Alexander will have some similar characteristics.

Yesterday Motorola announced three new models of ROKR series, of which interesting device is only Motorokr EM30.

Motorola MOTOROKR EM30

This monoblock comes under the slogan “50% of calls, 50% of music - your 100%”, which describes its functionality perfectly. Two regime keyboard, which we meet in other Motorola phones,  allows you to manage musical player with reasonable ease . The device is equipped with a standard audiojack, compatible with the ecosystem of Windows Media Player 11 and supports MicroSD-cards up to 8 GB.

Dimensions of MotoROKR - 115×53x10,6 mm, weight - 100 grams. Camera - 2 Mp. Battery capacity - 970 mAh.

Motorola MOTOROKR EM25

Musical slider, which design reminds traditional appearance of Motorola phones, is a mid-ranged device with 128×160 display resolution, 65 thousand colors and  a 1.3 Mp camera - specifications which are designed for active fans on RAZR. Handset supports Bluetooth A2DP, MicroSD card up to 2 GB. You can use your own headphones - 3.5 mm connector is a present.

Dimensions of Motorola MOTOROKR EM25 are 101×46x13,9, weight - 90 grams.

Motorola MOTOROKR EM28

Very average on technology equipment and is flip-phone with 128×160 pixels display (65 thousand colors) and 1.3 Mp camera. The phone has FM-radio and supports MicroSD-card capacity up to 2 GB.

Dimensions are - 94,35×49,5×17,38 mm, weight - 90 grams.

Boy Genius Report published a photo and some details of the new smartphone Motorola Alexander, who in earlier rumors was described as “the last line of defense” and the new flagship of Motorola.

If rely on the source, Motorola Alexander runs under Windows Mobile 6.1, and not Symbian UIQ, as previously thought. In addition, the smartphone will have 5 or 8 megapixel camera, NVIDIA chip for processing 3D-graphics, support for aGPS.

Release date is in the fourth quarter of this year.
