Today LG unveiled the successor of the extremely popular LG Prada phone. This time some fancy features come to compliment the exquisite looks of the designer phone. And believe it or not the only difference in design is the addition of a QWERTY keyboard (yeap - you got that right, keyboard).

While LG haven’t yet announced the detailed specification list of the Prada II (a.k.a. KF900) all of its highlights are already known. For starters, a 5 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens comes to replace the modest 2 megapixel shooter of the original Prada.

In an attempt to gain new market territory, outside the if-it-ain’t-shinin’-I-ain’t-buyin realm, LG have also included 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity in the KF900 Prada II. HSDPA is also on board, improving data transfer rates even further.

The new Prada mobile will be available though major mobile dealerships in Italy, UK, France, Germany, Spain and Netherlands in the 4Q of 2008. The pleasure of having one to squeeze in your pocket is worth 600 euro (810 US dollars).

The site TheUnwired found in the deeps of the Federal Communications Commission site reference to the phone LG KS500. Under such a index the Korean company usually produces smartphones.

We know almost nothing about the device, except that it will support HSDPA and have a QVGA-resolution. Taking into consideration that LG intends to produce smartphone based on Android, it is likely that the mysterious LG KS500 may be based on the same Android.

So far, all the data on this phone is purely informal.

So many rumors over the upcoming LG KC910 for the last couple of weeks since it was announced in August, but now we’ve got the official press release confirming LG Renoir. The LG KC910 has been officially announced, available first in Europe this month, then Asia and Latin America in November, followed by Africa and the Middle East in December and finally China in January.

North America isn’t included in this list. Why? We still don’t know.

An innovative approach Touch Shot is just wonderful addition to its 8 Mp Camera, which lets you determine what the camera focuses on by touching them on the 3-inch screen, then taking the picture by releasing.

The press release also acknowledges that 8-megapixel slider we’ve been seeing a lot of lately, the LG KC780, which will be slightly slimmer than the Renoir and also available in October.

The LG KC910 Renoir is supposed to be LG Viewty’s successor, adding more megapixles to the camera and Wi-Fi for good measure.
It’s easy to get blown away by the Renoir’s camera, just remember that they put a lot of work into the video playback and sound, too - it should more than amply handle entertainment, and in terms of straight-up specs it gives the iPhone run for its money.

More  we got from Canada and another LG phone - LG Wine will be available in Canada soon by Bell Mobility. The clamshell has a 2.2” display, GPS, 1.3 megapixel camera, external speakerphone, Bluetooth and picture messaging.

Full technical specifications of LG KP500 touch phone showed where the company was able to save - to make the price «affordable». KP500 does not support 3G-communications, has a screen with 256 thousand colors and resolution of 240×400 pixels. Support for Wi-Fi may not be available - data transfer can be arranged only with the help Bluetooh (v2.1 with A2DP).

The phone, contrary to previous reports, has a 3 megapixel camera, which captures video at 12 frames per second. 900 mAh battery provides up to 350 hours in standby and 3.5 hours of talk time.

Dimensions of the phone - 106,5×55,4×11,9 mm, weight - 89 grams.

Comparison with other similar size models are shown in the picture.

In the near future, the company LG is ready to pump the «arms race» in the field of mobile cameraphones with its  KC780 8 megapixel, which promises to be a fairly thin phone. Matrix of the camera will have a resolution of 8 MP. The unit is made in the slider form factor.

It is expected that the phone will resemble the features of LG Secret and only certain functions can be used to via  the touch menu. Details on the technical specifications must be followed up later.

GSM Arena has already published the first photos of the phone - including, in comparison with LG Renoir.

LG intoduced touch phone LG KP500, which won’t be «untouchables» for the average buyer - at least, the producer believes. The price of the touchscreen device has not been disclosed, but it is expected that this phone will be cheaper than top models of touch screen phones.

Since the release of Prada, LG can be called one of the leaders in the production of phones with touch control. LG KP500 has a bright 3 inch touch screen, style to create rapid «hand» notes, and for the convenience of working with the “touch” QWERTY keyboard. It appears when the phone is put horizontal. LG KP500 has embedded accelerometer.

The company LG Electronics is preparing to release a rather interesting model of mobile phone - LG Xenon for AT&T operator. The phone has not yet been formally presented and the first information about it and picture published resource Boy Genius Report. LG Xenon is carried out in form factor side-slider with a QWERTY keyboard.

LG Xenon for U.S. operator AT&T customers should appear before the Christmas season sales for yet known price.

LG Electronics announced that worldwide sales of series of phones LG Prada had reached one million units. In March 2007, when the phone LG Prada first appeared in the market, he was quite widely accepted as a phone, which combines design and technology, including touch screen with advanced interface.

Also, Korean manufacturer has announced that with demand in the market, LG and Prada intend to continue cooperation, planning to release a new phone model of LG Prada, which will appear in the European market in the fourth quarter of 2008.

LG, LG!!! Another 8 Mp cameraphone by the Korean producer LG KC780 is what we are goint to see next. While it’s exciting to see yet another high-res cameraphone, it seems LG have not put a lot of effort in making its design stand out.

We don’t have much details about the LG KC780 now, but it’s already passed through US FCC. We only know that LG KC780 will have quad-band GSM support, but unfortunately no 3G.

The LG KC780 will also have Bluetooth and a microSD card slot plus 30fps video recording (the video resolution is not yet clear).

Thin camera phone LG Secret KF750 will soon appear in four new colors. LG said that users will be able to buy this device in the following colors: Titan Gold, Ruby Violet, Aqua Blue and Dark Silver. All these colors will go as a supplement to the original black version.

Purple and gold versions of phones are already available in South Korea. LG Secret in purple, blue and silver in the near future will be in Europe. Most likely, this will happen by the beginning of the Christmas season.

The LG KC910 Renoir’s was photod recently and although it’s not a huge leap for LG in terms of technology (8-megapixel camera and a touchscreen interface ), it should be able to satisfy LG Viewty fans and photogs alike. The LG KC910 is made in the bar form factor for a touchscreen cellphone and is a multimedia powerhouse with its ability to play Xvid and DivX videos natively in addition to many other usual formats with a big QVGA display to watch them on.

Nicknamed as the Veiwty II, the LG KC910 also has Bluetooth and WiFi along with 3G/HSDPA support and a GPS receiver for turn-by-turn navigation and geotagging photos. With the Schneider-Kreuznach-certified 8-megapixel lens being the strong point, this touchscreen device has a lot of camera-centric features like a Xenon flash, auto/manual focus, face/smile tracking, blink detection, and a bevy of creative shot modes to equal that of an average digital camera.

Other than Sony Ericsson C905 and Samsung Innov8 i8510, LG KC910 is the third mobile phone that’s featuring a 8 megapixel camera module. LG announced that they will be naming their 8-megapixel full-touchscreen-operated cameraphone after the famous French artist Renoir. According to GSMHelpDesk, the LG Renoir KC910 has implemented a similar interface as Samsung TouchWIZ UI. Unlike Samsung, which places the TouchWIZ bar at the side, LG has a row of little icons at the bottom of the display screen. You can move the icon out from the bar to the main screen, and it will be activated on the screen.

The LG Renoir KC910 is the successor of LG Viewty, which debuted as the slimmest 5 megapixel phone. The 8 megapixel module on the LG KC910 is a Schneider-Kreuznach certified optics, assisted by a xenon flash and supports ISO sensitivity up to 1600. strengthening the phone’s camera features are image stabilization, auto-focus, manual focus, Face Tracking, Smile Shot and blink detection. The camera application on this test model needed some improvements. GSMHelpDesk finds it quite slow from launching the camera application to taking a snapshot.

Other than the 8 megapixel camera, the LG KC910 also comes with built in GPS, WiFi, microSD card slot and supports HSDPA wireless data connection.

LG says KC910 Renoir will be available in some countries in October.

Dutch site GSMhelpdesk.nl reports, that LG Prada II will be available before Christmas. Resource refers to the head of sales in the Benelux countries.
