UK Gets The Dell Venue Pro

UK gets the new Venue Pro and customers can now get the mobile phone directly from Dell. This was announced by company on Tuesday. This new mobile is one that operates on the Windows Phone 7 Mobile OS and it also has a 4.1 inch AMOLED screen that is a touchscreen. The device also has a keyboard that is a vertical sliding one. This can be used by the user for convenient emailing and input of text.

The device is one that is hyped to be a business phone and it also has the advantages of Microsoft Office to allow the user to view documents. The phone is one that allows the user to view posts and the syncing of all the documents of the phone. The Sharepoint feature of the phone will allow the user to do this. The device along with the above also has integration with the Microsoft Exchange Email service.

According to the Vice President of Dell, Aongus Hegarty for consumer in EMEA( Small and Medium Business) The Venue Pro is one mobile device that blends business with pleasure. This was released in a statement by the company.

The device also has additional key features in the form of a micro SD card and a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (1GHz). For those who love photography the phone also has a 5MP camera and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Dell is all set to launch a brand new mobile phone in India and it is hyped to be an Android based Smartphone that will be affordable to the Indian consumer. The company claims that this mobile phone will be equipped with the Google Android platform 2.1 as its main operating system. The handset has been named the Dell XCD28 and it is ready to compete with the other Android phones that are competing in the Indian market. The main competitors of Dell are Samsung and Nokia and time will only tell on whether this set that has been launched by Dell will surplus the demand for the competitors.

In an address to the Media the GM, Mr Mahesh, Consumer and SMB of Dell had stated that India is a fast growing mobile market and this is the reason the company has decided to provide this phone to the Indian consumer. Today android phones are a great hit with the young and trendy and this is the reason why the company has decided to target this segmented audience. The company is positive that the young will love the phone and also enjoy the features that it has to offer. It is anticipated that theis phone is going to hit the market in December 2010 and Dell is eagerly waiting for its response.

Dell Lightning – Windows Phone 7 Smartphone

American Dell company has introduced its Lightning smartphone, running the latest Windows Phone 7 operating system.

Designed in a horizontal slider form factor with sliding QWERTY-keyboard the device is equipped with a 4.1-inch OLED touchscreen with WVGA resolution, 5-megapixel camera with auto focus, 512 MB RAM and 1 GB internal memory.

Dell Lightning, built on the basis of Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250, supports Adobe Flash and Silverlight.

There is a slot for microSD cards, wireless Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, FM-tuner modules, accelerometer, GPS-receiver, microUSB-interface and electronic compass.

The device gains power from a battery with 1400 mAh capacity. The size of the new smartphone is 121,6 × 64,4 × 14,9 mm.

Dell Lightning will be available in the fourth quarter of this year.

Dell Mini 3i in China from December

Today Dell announced that the Chinese operator China Mobile will start selling its smartphone Dell Mini 3i in late November. We should recall, this model belongs to a series OPhone and is based on the platform of Open Mobile System (OMS), the Chinese modification of Android. Dell finally released its ultrathin notebook Adamo, to become a real competitor to MacBook Air. With a thickness of 1.65 cm, laptop claims to rank the thinnest in the world, but it weighs 1.8 kg – slightly more than Air (1,35 kg). Perhaps this is because the case of Dell Adamo is made of aluminum.

Dell presented its latest rugged notebook Latitude E6400 XFR, designed to work in conditions of high humidity and at high concentrations of dust. Dell Mini 10 in details

At CES in early January, Dell first showed its new netbuk Inspiron Mini 10, but true details were not disclosed too much. In fact, everything that Dell said at that time, was only the 10 inch display 720p support, Intel Atom Z530 with a clock speed of 1.6 GHz, Wi-Fi (802.11n), 3G, GPS, and the presence of TV-tuner. It is now known more information about the specifications of Dell Mini 10 as it appeared in the slide of the presentation of Inspiron Mini 10.

Dell prepares Android and WinMo smartphones

According to the Wall Street Journal, the company Dell is already quite close to enter the market of smartphones and communicators. This should happen as early as in February.

If earlier rumors indicated greater likelihood of an operating system, Windows Mobile, now sources suggest that the company is also experimenting with the platform Android.
