First internet rumors appeared of ASUS P565 Communicator which hasn’t been announced yet. According to preliminary information, this will be a powerful model with a VGA-display, processor Marvell Tavor 800 MHz, GPS-module and a brand interface Glide, as the recently release ASUS P552w.

We recieved first information about the new Communicator from ASUStek. The device is named ASUS Galxy7, perhaps this is the sames as o2 Xda Zest, which has already appeared on rumors. If our hopes come true, the new Galxy7 will be a decent competitor for communicator Samsung Omnia. Presumably, the model is equipped with 3.5 inch touchscreen with WVGA resolution (800×480 pixels), 5 MP camera, and also uses an updated interface Glide 1.5 UI, the first version of which is set to ASUS P552w.

Regarding the processor and internal memory accurate data has not been recieved yet, some rumors say it’s supposed to be Intel PXA310 624 MHz and 4 GB internal memory (RAM amount is not specified), some others say 128 MB RAM and a flash drive of 1 GB. Originally photos and information appeared in Chinese site Mobile01, then additional details were published in Polish resource pda.pl.

Presumably, the device will be announced in October, while sales may start to the Christmas season this year.

Asus on 5 September announced its latest Communicator - Asus R552w - which main feature became an innovative interface Glide.

Slogan of technology Glide - the world at your findertips, which offers already known for multi-touch system of multiple simultaneous applications to perform complex functions (zoom, selection, etc.). Among the preinstalled software, there are special programs written espacially for this interface.

In addition, the Communicator Asus R522w has a powerful 624 MHz processor, integrated GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HSDPA and supports services by Google.

No data of its release date and price have been announced.

ASUS repoted about nearing sales of its new Communicator Asus P560. Recall that the first time Asus P560 was represented at the exhibition CeBIT 2008. It is, indeed, somewhat simplified version of Communicator ASUS-Lamborghini ZX1.
In addition to standard delivery device will include a full set of navigation: credl for installation in the car, car charger, software iGO Navigation 6 with maps of local areas TeleAtlas downloaded to 512 MB memory card.

 Aproximate start of sales of Asus P560 is June 2008 at the cost of some 500 Eur or $772.
