Yesterday Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) announced that the new Bluetooth specification will be announced in mid-2009. Bluetooth 2.2 promises to be a frolic of his predecessor and transmit data at higher speeds.
According to plans, SIG, the new high-speed Bluetooth specification will work with WLAN (Bluetooth 10x) and USB/UWB (Bluetooth 100x) to increase the transmission rate. This will allow transfer large files and multimedia content. Originally in mobile devices will be introduced Bluetooth 10x, because at the moment, most phones have Wi-Fi.
