Blackberry Torch 9800 Now With The Mobile News Network Of Associated Press

There is great news for Blackberry mobile owners and that is that RIM has announced that the Blackberry Torch 9800 will now come equipped with a multi-media news portal- The Associated Press Mobile News Network. The above mobile news network was designed by Associated Press in the month of May and it has been receiving an encouraging response since then. RIM has also launched a client application that has been designed for the full optimization of Blackberry Smartphones that are readily available for download at bb.apnews.com.

The Mobile News Network is also an application that works on the Blackberry Curve, Bold, Pearl and Flip models. Blackberry, in fact, is the first mobile device after the launch of iPhone to receive a personalized and customized mobile news portal. According to AP, the mobile news portal has received more than 16 million page views since August 2008 and there are also more than a million local news reports that are read. The number has increased in the subsequent months and it has climbed up to 26 million page views that has around 1.5 million local stories that are read on a regular basis.
