Morrison, some details of which leaked and before, was considered the first Android run phone by Motorola. Now if we believe rumors surrounding us, more technical specs and the date of its anouncement leaked also.

According to available information, Motorola Morrison is based on a 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7201A processor and has 256 MB RAM, 512 MB of nonvolatile memory, microSDHC slot for cards up to 32 GB, display with a resolution of 320×480 pixels, accelerometer to rotate the desktop, a magnetometer, light sensor, distance sensor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack, Microphone, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, and 5.4x digital zoom.

These are pretty good specs for a phone that uses Android, but nothing there to be cosidered innovation. The good news is that already the fact that Motorola is not lagging behind its competitors. It is also known that T-Mobile plans to start selling Motorola Morrison on 21 October this year, just before the holidays.

As resistive, so and capacitive touch screens have their advantages and disadvantages. RIM decided to overcome the problem of choice of technology for the touch screen on its own: it has developed a hybrid screen, which is based on both resistive and capacitive technologies.

The screen has both resistive and capacitive controllers, providing thus a quick response to finger touch, high accuracy input when working with stylus input and supports multitouch.

But, of course, it immediately raises the question the value of this screen: it is not surprising that at this point it would be extraordinarily expensive cost. RIM is going to set the screens on their smartphones Masthead model, so that for such devices as the Blackberry Storm 2 and 3, their price will be at the time.

It should be noted, however, that not only RIM conceived of combining these two sensor technologies. Jet smartphone from Samsung is equipped with a display R-Resistive, which is based on this hybrid technology.

Ars Technica reports that in the latest version of iPhone OS 3.1 beta, sent to developers last week, there is an updated configuration file that contains references to the two mysterious devices – iProd 0,1 and iProd 1,1.

The first of them appeared back in March and according to the coding system of Apple, it is a prototype. But adding to the list of the same product with the symbol «1,1» may mean the willingness of companies to its official release.

What is hidden under the name iProd, is not currently known, but the most recent discussion in the Net are about the upcomeing Apple Tablet. Perhaps, it is understood that it was he, although it is unclear whether the plane used as a policy framework iPhone OS or Mac OS X.

Device iProd may also be the next generation iPod nano players with camera (though doubtful, that the plan is the manufacturer of equipment for its operating system) or the iPhone nano, and even the existence of plans for the release of which Apple denies.

Recall that in January in the same way (ie the study of configuration files), it was revealed the existence of iPhone 3GS (Code iPhone 2,1).

However, sometimes HTC itself reveals some details about its future products, through testing them in the FCC, or (as now) for registering trade marks.

Recently the company filed a U.S. patent Committee (USPTO) application for the five names for future devices: Vigor, Dawn, Interlude, Imagio and Tattoo. It is clear that on their technical specs, the OS and the time of release is unknown. Interestingly, in the OHIM (Office of Harmonization for the Internal Market), the European analogue USPTO, have currently under consideration only two of these brands – Dawn and the Tattoo. Probably, the remaining models will be designed exclusively for the American market.

At the moment, not much information is available about that device, but we can say that the Samsung S3100 is a slider with a music player, FM-tuner, Bluetooth 2.1 and EDR, USB 2.0 and MicroSD slot. Also this phone has a built-in camera, but its quality is unknown. Also, we do not know the exact resolution of the display, but we can assume that it is 240×320 points.

So far there is only one picture of Samsung S3100. As we can see, this unit reminds Samsung U700. S3100 will go on sale this summer.

By the end of the year, LG intends to provide access to its App Store in Europe and Latin America and increase the number of applications up to 2000.

On Wednesday, HTC held a conference, in which the correspondent of online portal The Unwired was able to make live photos of the new upcoming Android-communicator under the name HTC Hero.

The lower part of the body made of an angle of 15°, which allows it lay comfortably in your hand. As you know, it’s white colored and has a special Teflon coating, which would avoid scratches.

3.2″ touch screen also has a special coating, which should protect the screen from fingerprints.

The debut of the model is scheduled for July. It will be very interesting to look not only at the hardware capabilities of the communicator, but also on the updated software.

As a communicator will be available at a price of$ 199.99 subject to 2-year contract. Although since info was announced officially has passed quite not so long of time, already skeptics who consider such a proposal unattractive in terms of funds spent. Apparently, the operator looks seriously hot on the love of fans to OS Android.

That would suggest that in Europe, the successor of T-Mobile G1 will be called G1 Touch. Recall that the U.S. version of Google-made OS run phone is expected to be named T-Mobile MyTouch 3G.
