ASUStek at the CeBIT 2009 showed a new thin and stylish netbook Eee PC 1008HA, code named before – Shell. The model is just one inch thick and weighs only 1.1 kg in its pearl shell.
According to the manufacturer, the size of the Eee PC 1008HA keyboard is 92% of normal, which provides a comfortable typing. We should note its multi-touch tachpad, instant access buttons to activate Wi-Fi or lock tachpad and, moreover, a microphone, a web camera with a resolution of 1.3 megapixels and a full set of wireless interfaces – 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, optional 3.75G and WiMAX.
A more detailed technical specifications manufacturer has not yet reported, as well as the timing of the release and price are yet to be announced.
