We haven’t heard about Asus’s Android plans for a while, and most of you can be worried that the Taiwan-based company has forgot about Google’s mobile Os. Well, we want to assure you, that it didn’t!
Though the neighbor Acer has already launched its first Android phone Liquid A1, Asus hasn’t provided too many details about it’s Android handset. The chairman Johnny Shih reconfirmed that the company would introduce an Android phone in 2009.

It’s not clear if the Asus phones Johnny Shih talked about would be launched under Garmin-Asus brand, or it’d be an Asus only product.
Either way, Asus will probably come with an interesting phone that should help Google and Android conquer the mobile world.
