AsusTEK announced the new ASUS Eee PC 1000HG netbook with integrated WiMAX-module. The device is able to work in networks, IEEE 802.16e, WAVE2, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n at frequencies of 2.4 ~ 2.7 GHz and 5.1 ~ 5.8 GHz. Netbook is equipped with a standard 10-inch screen.
In addition to Eee 1000HG, ASUS demonstrated at MWC 2009 another two new models of series of Eee PC – 1003HA and T91. Both are equipped with wireless communication modules 3,5 G Huawei EM770, one of the first embedded modules designed to work with the operating system Windows 7.
Asus Eee PC 1003HA has a 10 inch display with LED backlight, hard drive of 160 GB and 10 GB of additional space on the online service Eee Storage. It will be sold exclusively through the operators network. Netbook Eee PC T91 is equipped with a rotating touch screen and a set of programs that are optimized to work with the touch interface.
